Dr. Kamil Mansoor Yousif, a lecturer from the Environmental Science Dept. at the University of Zakho, received an invitation to participate in the International Conference: (World Renewable Energy Congress -18, London, Kingston University, UK – 30 July to 3 August 2018). Dr. Yousif, shared the congress with a paper (Oral Presentation) - [Low-cost solar selective absorbers by electrodepositing technique].
It is worth mentioning that more than 250 participants discussed and presented 171 papers from 92 countries, covering many topics, such as Solar Thermal, Photo-voltaic and Space Application, Biomass & Waste-to-energy, RE solution for Climate Change, Green Buildings , Sustainable Building Sector, wind energy, RE in Buildings and Cities , Eco Material and Technology, etc.
The Conference highlighted the importance of growing renewable energy applications in many sectors, such as Electricity Generation and the Sustainable Building Sector, energy needs, Solution for Climate Change. It was a good opportunity to exchange ideas, experiences, and planning for future studies in Kurdistan through contacting and meeting the experts in the field of renewable energy , environmental technologies , Green Buildings and Architecture.
